It's easy to enable local network file sharing on a Windows 10 PC via FTP service.
Now I will tell you how to enable it, Let's get start.
Prepare a PC with Windows 10 installed.
Step 1. open Control panel >Programs>Turn Windows future on or off .
Step 2. Find and mark FTP server, IIS management console & IIS management service
Step 3. Click small icon view on control panel. then open Administrative tools
Step 4.Find and open IIS services manager tool on new window
Step 5.Click add FTP site on new window
Step 6. Fill in server name and physical path of your file to be sharing.
Step 7. Fill in the IP address of your PC, mark start FTP site automatically, then choose No SSL .open cmd and input ipconfig to find your IP address.
Step 8. Mark anonymous authentication,allow access to All users & enable Read/Write
Step 9.Open windows defender firewall then find allow an app or feature through windows defender firewall
Step10. Click change settings, then find and mark FTP Server both private and public. Then allow other app
Step 11. Click Browse, then find and choose svchost (common path: C:\Windows\System32\svchost.exe
Step 12.Click OK to make changes to take effect.
Step 13.
Open your browser open your FTP server FTP://your IP(refer step 7 to find).
